On this page you'll find a few of the digital marketing case studies we've recently accepted and we hope you enjoy learning from them. Each represents an aspect of best practice we've found useful when teaching digital marketing, and if you're joining us for a Digital Training Academy, then ask about case studies in your sector.
Submit your digital marketing case studies
You can do this online through our online submission form or by email. If you'd like to submit examples of your work then email them into CaseStudies@DigitalTrainingAcademy.com and after an initial review we'll be in touch if we feel they can be used to support learning goals.
There is also an online submission tool, here: http://www.digitaltrainingacademy.com/submit. By sending us a case study you agree we can use it in training, conference speeches, book chapters and reports and other media. You need to be confident you have the necessary rights and permissions from partners or clients to be able to do this. Case studies cannot be restricted to one particular course so we can only accept material which can be used in any aspect of our training. However, if youd like us to withdraw a case study at any point, then we can do this within two weeks.

Lost My Name, an online-only children’s book retailer ran an optimisation campaign with Optimizely. This case study looks at how the retailer used A/B testing to achieve an 18.1% uplift in orders.
Programmatic case study: GSK gets 3p cost-per-view with DoubleClick »
When it came to expanding their impact across audiences, GSK and MediaCom turned to DoubleClick’s video technology Programmatic Guaranteed to buy video ad inventory on premium websites. This case study looks at how the pharmaceutical giant got a 65% view-through rate with the new automated platform.

Chobani and Nielsen Catalina Solutions teamed up for a Yahoo Search ad campaign that resulted in a 9% lift in yogurt sales and a 1.3% increase in market share.

Video marketing: Sequential storytelling with Nespresso »
To raise awareness of its commitment to sustainability, Nespresso designed an innovative YouTube campaign, with George Clooney and Matt Damon. Featuring a sequential storytelling approach, the campaign was executed across multiple markets through a central campaign “command centre” where brand team’s agencies and YouTube/Google worked closely, making strategic decisions and fast executional adjustments.

Doritos became the first brand to run a contest on Periscope to promote its new ‘Roulette’ product. This case study looks at how the brand used live streaming in a fun way that engaged new fans on Twitter.

Periscope case study: Nestle turns camera on customers to generate social buzz »
Nestlé’s Drumstick used a different angle for its Periscope marketing. Rather than running video feeds of its facilities and employees, it made its customers the focal point of the Periscope campaign. This case study looks at how the FMCG giant generated more than 5,000 views and more than 50,000 hearts in just over 12 hours with smart social marketing.

Turkish Airlines created the world's first live-streamed flight around the world using Twitter’s Periscope app. This case study looks at how the brand fused new technology with a clever idea and precise execution to get over a quarter million new likes.

Mobile case study: Car maker goes mobile first to boost test drives 50% »
With a new product launch on the horizon, Isuzu UTE looked to capture a larger market share by improving its mobile presence. By redesigning its site in just three months and increasing its mobile ad investment, the Australian car maker increased its mobile conversion rate by 335%.

Twitter case study: Hellmann’s #ReciTweet creates personalised meals for fridge raiders »
This smart piece of social marketing from Hellmann’s in Brazil helped hungry Twitter users make the most of their under-stocked fridges. The campaign sent users personalised recipes based on what was actually in their fridge (with Hellmann’s of course).

In March 2016, supermarket chain Whole Foods sparked a Twitter revolt by selling pre-peeled oranges in plastic containers. This case study looks at the social media fall out.
