eBay have become the latest victims in cybercrime, urging all customers to change their passwords after a massive hack attack. The online marketplace has since come under criticism for its delayed announcement as the attack took place several months ago - showing that timing is key when it comes to customer relations and security. The concept of net neutrality (an equal internet speed for all users) came under threat this month US plans to allow certain web publishers to allow faster access to their sites for higher paying customers. Meanwhile the 'do not track' battle rumbles on, with the ad industry proposing an alternative that it hopes will prevent tracking being blocked by default - with huge implications for behavioural targeting campaigns.
